BER - No feedback
Handed my handset in for repairs no feedback only to be told on collection that the handset is beyond economical repairs. This is the second time handset is in for repairs and it’s the same problem on the last repair they swop the main board now this same board is liquid damage
To whom it may concern,
On the 10 December I handed my Ericsson handset in for repairs, I was told that I will be contacted should it need any escalation repairs (no contact)
On the 15 December I was contacted to collect my handset when I arrived at the Vodacom shop in Canal walk on the 16th the consultant told me that my handset is liquid damaged and “BER” I ask what does this mean and she explained beyond economical repair but couldn’t explain why I’m responsible, I then asked for the manager and spoke to Leonard he also could explain because he had trouble getting onto the computer to see the technician report, the reason why I’m most upset is that this was the second time I handed the handset in for the same problem the speaker I’m unable to make calls without being connected a handset free.
I understand that the handset is water resistant but I can tell you speaking to other Sony users this handset never lived up to its standards as advertised, I would like to see the damage on the phone and how I’m responsible for this damage.
I called your call Centre today and a very unhelpful Tabo assisted me, telling me that I’m unable to speak to anyone except via email .... how the world has changed that we cannot have any human connection to discuss your concerns .... really sad Vodacom.
I would like to be contacted before my phone is sent back and explained the damage.
