Below Average Service

I do not know how many emails I need to send the early cancellation department. On the 6th of February, I sent this email address: *** an email, telling them that I won't be able to pay my SimOnly deal that I took last year. I received a response on the 12th of February saying that my account is not in arrears. I was given an option to cancel the contract, which made more sense, looking at my situation. I proceeded to send an email to the early cancellation department and I was sent a quote on the 16th of February. The quote stated how much I need to pay before my account can be closed. I used the payment method they suggested (EFT), they further stated that Vodacom is listed as a public company on the big 4 banks. I needed to use my account number as reference. On the same day of receiving the quote, the 16th of February, I tried to make a payment via the FNB banking app, since I bank with FNB. FNB couldn't process my transaction. The error I got was that my reference was incorrect. Still on the 16th of February, I sent the early cancellation department an email, with screenshots, proving the error I am encountering. On the 19th of February, I went to ABSA to try to pay this account, the consultant couldn't help us still. The quote is valid for 14 days and I wanted to settle it. I asked for communication to be sent via email since I am unable to answer calls during the day. I haven't received any response from you. Instead, I get emails stating that an agent is busy with my query but a few hours later, I receive another email saying my query has been closed. How is it closed when I didn't get any help? On the 13th of February I received this reference number: Your reference number is: *** On the 16th of February I received this reference for my quote: quote *** On the 16th of February I received this: Your query with ref number *** has been closed. On the 16th of February again, I received this reference number: Your reference number is: *** On the 18th of February I received this: Your Service Request *** is in now being processed by Lindiwe Nene who will be in contact you with you shortly. On the 19th of February I received this: Your Service Request *** is in now being processed by Lindiwe Nene who will be in contact you with you shortly. On the 19th of February I received this: Your Service Request *** is in now being processed by Boitumelo Mohlasedi who will be in contact you with you shortly On the 19th of February I received: Dear Vodacom Customer, we trust you enjoyed the service experience. Your query with ref number *** has been closed. On the 19th of February I received: Your reference number is: *** Today, the 23rd of February I received: Your Service Request *** is in now being processed by Ntsako Mthombeni who will be in contact you with you shortly. Today, the 23rd of February I received: Your query with ref number *** has been closed.

How are my queries closed when I haven't heard from anyone? All that I want is for Vodacom to provide me with a payment link or an account number that I can use to settle this account within the 14 days I was given. Should you fail to assist me, I am taking you to the Ombudsman. I can't be sent to pillar to post like this. And you know very well that you like to blacklist people. Do your job!!!!

Dear Vodacom,

Thank you for getting a consultant to call me. I did receive the call. The consultant (whose name I didn't get, I must have forgotten it, my apologies) said he was going to cancel my contract since my account is not in arrears. I thanked him and further asked if I will be receiving some written document stating that I am no longer owing Vodacom. He said I will find the written document here on HelloPeter. I don't know if he was being sarcastic or what. So since I didn't find anything under my query, pertaining to the cancellation and I didn't receive any email confirming the cancellation. I trust that I will receive it in the next coming dates or I will be reaching out again.
