Being ******* into a Vodacom contract by their sales staff.
Visited a Vodacom shop at Langeberg Mall, Mossel Bay to get a solution for my urgent internet needs, As we do not have fiber at Dana Bay yet, the sales lady suggested a 200Gb LTE package "which is only available on a 36 months contract" and "if fibre is available in your area, you can upgrade to one of our fibre deals" Based on that info I signed up. - I later found out on the Vodacom website that this deal is available on an one or two year contract as well. Do the sales staff get commission on their sales?
Vodacom came to town - and advertised that fibre is to be installed in Dana Bay! Do I want to sign up? Yes, I have an Vodacom LTE contract and want to upgrade to fibre - "No problem, give us your details and we will contact you once fibre is installed"
I urgently need a uncapped solution and visited the Vodacom shop at Mossel Bay Mall, Heiderand to see what the options are - The sales lady responded: "Sorry, you can not upgrade to any larger package or to a fibre deal as you have to complete your 3 year contract first."
Who must I believe? What is the facts? Am I now a captive customer that was **** to by Vodacom sales staff?
I do not found any email address on the Vodacom website for Customer Care to clarify this.
