Being sold a contract on false pretences

Had a call from Vodacom agent, he said vodacom is giving me a tablet due to the fact that I am the customer and vodacom is trying to retain their customers, I was advised the current rate will be reduced to R199, and then I had the bill, I was billed twice, for the tablet that I was given, its such a cheap device that will cost me not even R 500 why will I take it for contract and for 24months, when I received the devise I did not complain as I thought its a gift, camera was not working but a gift u dont complain only to find our the devise was not a gift but new contract,
