Being sent from Post to pole and still get no where

What a trying day was today gosh Vodacom stores in Gardens centre and V & A Waterfront have the worst customer service. I have spent a whole day trying to get the logistics on how to get my phone insurance sorted by making the required calls to ensure that I claim the insurance of the contract phone I have with them. I did that successfully and and even got the claim number. I then contacted the Gardens centre store to see if I can come after work as the my claim was approved telephonically. A lady told me to contact the insurance company that I have never heard of before as I was under the impression that Vodacom should be handling this as when I took the contract and insurance I was not told about this company. Anyways I contacted the insurance just for peace keeping and the insurance guy agrees with me that the store should be doing this work of calling them, (this is on record) but anyways he promised me that he has linked my profile with the claim approval and all I have to do is to show up at the store and they would do the rest. I asked if I can get the paperwork he said no I am client and they cannot. I decided that I will go the Vodacom V & A Waterfront as it is bigger and surely I will be sorted to day with my claim number the two ladies who were assisting me requested for my I.D. one went to the back and upon her return she said there was nothing. I explained everything I have done to prevent this nightmare from happening and she simply told me the insurance(that I have never heard of till today) is closed and I must come tomorrow. I then asked if they can take my details to ensure that whoever can assist me first thing tomorrow can have them so I don't have to experience this again they told me they are off that's all. Now I know very well if I was not a young looking and a black men I would have a better response. At least I would be assisted with the last request especially because they are in a service industry and I have explained the level of disappointment with the service not to mention the inconvenience I have experience. Let alone the fact that this is the same company that has penalized me on when they have not deducted money on the agreed date but I have kept my end of the bargain and now I simply ask for service and this what I get. We have a long way to go as a c the worst part is to be disregarded by people of color as well. 06/10/2019
