Being ****** by SA's best network?
Good day
I was recently contacted by a sales agent, I'm assuming the company he works for has been contracted to upsell your current clients. He called me to tell me about how I could be receiving alot more data on my data sim for an additional few Rands per month.
After weighing up the obvious benefits, I agreed. I agreed only because I was told by this sales person that my current data sim woth Vodacom would be canceled, I would be sent a new sim, AND all of this for an additional R20 per month (current one being R149pm) . For this new fee of R169pm, I would be receiving 20gig data + 5gig night data every month. Keeping both the old and taking up the new data offer just wouldnt make sense. He understood this and reiterated that the new would be an upgrade/replacement of the current one.
Sim was received and all seemed well, ONLY til my debit orders started going off. I currently have a cellphone contract with Vodacom, plus this new data contract which was supposed to be R169 per month.. Making my new debit total to Vodacom R420.. This however is NOT what I was debited.
To my surprise I was debited R570 + a second debit of R90?!
I called Vodacom Customer care on Saturday 27 April and spoke to Thembeni, who was unable to assist me as she is not able to see my statements, nor my debits? *If Vodacom's Customer service department cannot see my statement, what exactly can they see????*
How can Vodacom debit numerous amounts, and not be able to tell me what the debit amounts were for?
I urgently need your assistance in escalating my query. This is unacceptable and not something I expect from such a well known and much loved mobile network.
I trust this will be resolved within the next 48 hours.
Regards Wesley Williams
