Being paying for phantom phone since October

I upgraded my Samsung P5 phone in October and received a Huawei P10 lite. I subsequently noticed that I had been charged for another number 066222.... for which I apparently don't even have usage. It has an extraordinary amount of data and phone time available (whihc has not been used). I spent a great deal of time contacting Vodacom about this and eventually got service from Lebo about 3 weeks ago and he admitted that it was a Vodacom mistake. He decided I should return my new phone for some reason because that is how the system operated and then upgrade separately. Once my phone was returned, I would get credits for all the 066222 ... payments from October onward. This has not happened and I am still being charged for the number. In the meantime I have upgraded the phone and received another new one. I would like to get clarity and a refund!
