Being charged on ghost numbers - No answer at customer care

Good day,

Here's my story.

In October I requested Vodacom to send me premature cancellation quotes for bying out a few of my contracts.

While I requested this, two of my numbers were ported out to the new subscriber. Because of this, Vodacom had two create ghost numbers in order for me to be able to get the quotes as requested.

I made payment on all the quotes, except for one, which I decided to keep. This one now has been stopped/blocked for some reason and it should actually still be active.

The two ghost numbers are now being active on my account and Vodacom took a debit order payment after I received confirmation from the consultant that my profile has been set as a cash customer. I even made an EFT payment to Vodacom on the 30th for the number that according to me, should still be active.

My budget is now havoc because of this and do not get any answer from the customer care number. I have been calling everyday, then hold for 20-30 minutes, and then being cut off.

I don't know what to do to get help or response from Vodacom. I also sent a mail to the retensions.cancellations email. Someone rep**** that they can see exactly what is going on and want to call me. I must supply them with my number, and I did. This was last week already, and still no call was received by them.

I have never had any complaints about Vodacom because I always received good service. Don't know what is going on lately, but this is giving them a bad reputation.

Can someone at Vodacom please help me to sort out this mess and refund me the money you took from my bank account.

Regards,

Leonie
