Being charged for CONTENT SERVICES... just another word for ****/*****.....
For the last couple of months, every time I get a statement from Vodacom, I have been charged for an item called "CONTENT SERVICES" . I have never requested these, have not received sms's with regards to them, and have no idea what these so called CONTENT SERVICES even do. Every time I phone the call centre, all they can tell me is they are CONTENT SERVICES, and that it is not a Vodacom service. I have ask for contact numbers of these CONTENT SERVICES sites, and when you phone the numbers, no matter the time of the day or night, no one ever answers and it then goes straight to a voice message. I have asked Vodacom to block these requests from my account, but they say they cant put a stop on these types of requests, so anyone can send through a request, and I just have to pay. I have asked to speak to someone more senior, and no luck. I have asked for a solution to this issue... and no luck. I cancelled all the content services last month, and once again this month, I already have nearly R80 for content services on my account. You cant refuse to pay them, as if you don't pay your Vodacom bill, they will cut you off. So if this is not a **** of sorts, then what is... !!!! I am very unhappy and not impressed at the moment.... What is our legal stance with regards to refusing to pay for these CONTENT SERVICES, if Vodacom have no proof of agreement for this... I don't understand how they can expect one to be okay with paying for something that they never agreed to purchases ??? I want these CONTENT SERVICES to be stopped on my account. I DON'T WANT THEM... !!!!! I wonder how many other people are paying for so called "CONTENT SERVICES" on their accounts and are totally unaware ???
