being bl**** for contract which i cancelled

I had a contract with Vodacom which ended on February , the on march I called to cancel it but they didn't . in April I called again and they cancelled it. now I get a billed statement saying I owe them R308.00 and my line will be permanently disconnected if I don't pay. I just don't understand why cause I've cancel the contract.
