Being billed for a handset not agreed upon
Hi

Sometime in January (I think it was Saturday the 17th), I called Vodacom to cancel my contract, I was put through to your retentions department instead.

I spoke to a guy named one of your consultants in retentions (I can't recall his name properly but I think it's Sive) based in Midrand, he somehow convinced me not to cancel my account but to an upgrade which was due last year (October 2014). The package he promised me was as follows:

1 Gig, 350 Minutes (airtime), Free Gold Sumsung S5 with the Gear Fit - Free on a 24 month subscription, 300 free sms's

I received the phone after 2 weeks yet I was promised that delivery will happen in 2 working days. I even had to follow up. I has also been charged R200.00 for the handset and this was not part of the agreement I also received 500 megs instead of 2 Gigs. I've been phoning and emailing Vodacom with this query for more than 3 weeks and to date have not received any help. The list is long I have emails with the problems I've had with Vodacome. I WANT TO CANCEL THIS CONTRACT !!!!!....
