Been paying for 30 months counting for a handset on a 24 month contract.
This has been ridiculous and I've given you more than enough time to sort it out and I have still not received any feedback.
My first contact with Vodacom was on the 6th of October. The issue was eventually logged on 18 October with Ref nr: (1- ********** ********** ) - this was communicated with me after I had to call customer care again on 8 November. On the same day I sent an email to customer care with all the required evidence to support my claims. I got a phone call back within an hour from a lady that said she agree with my reasoning and have forwarded to accounts to sort the issue out. It is more than a month later and I still have not received any feedbac**** My initial issue was in relation to my account being charged for two handsets since May 2017 after my upgrade. I have the following evidence which I sent:
A screenshot of the email confirmation of the upgrade of my previous contract dating back to 04/05/2015 The first invoice (June 2015) reflecting the first handset payment of that contract
My invoice for December 2017 is still reflecting the same handset payment!
It is evident from the proof provided that I have upgraded my previous contract in May 2015. Consequently, I've been paying the same handset payment for the past 30 months even though this was a 24 month handset installment. This is unacceptable. I've been over-charged for 6-months. And I had to sacrifice at least two hours of my time (gathering evidence to support my claim and been on the phone with customer care on 6 October + 8 November). AND I had to call again to get the resolution to the request, no one from Vodacom contacted me with feedback regarding the issue.
