Because of Signal and network problems,I was forced to repair a router that was not faulty.

I have had vodacom home wifi for 2 years. In the 2 years I never experienced any problem with network. In March 2025 my router needed a reboot daily as the network and signal on the router flashed red. By the 1st of April a reboot was no longer working. I called the call center and was assured everything is fine with the line(network and signal) it must be the router. I took the router to vodacom Cresta where they checked on the system and said the router needed to be synchronized. 2 minutes later I was told everything will be fine when I get home the problem has been solved. I got home and still no signal or network. A week later I took the router back and this time they never even checked but told me to book my router in for repairs. A week later the repair department called me. And said it would cost R1200 to repair the "faulty " router. I paid the money on the 25th of April and then I never heard from vodacom again. On the 3rd of May I received am Sms that the router was repaired and on its way back to the Cresta branch. I keeps called to find out if the router had arrived. Today the 21 May I went to the bta9and the router happened to be there but the past to week I've been calling and there was no router. Turns out they could not repair the router so they replaced it with the exact same make and model. I arrived home and unfortunately the new router still gives the signal and network error. No one at the call center can help, I've spent R1200 to repair a router and 2 full months without a service that I'm paying for . No one can help or explain what is wrong with the network or the router. I believe there was nothing wrong with my router to begin with, I would like my old router back and also a refund as the new replacement router isn't not working. vodacom can't expect me to pay for services I never received and send me up and down without a actual solution.
