Be wary my Vodacom Nightmare Continues into April 2018 unresolved

Good day My name is Craig Slocombe, Todays date is the 03rd April 2018, My Vodacom account number is I ********** . I have been a contract holder with Vodacom for more than 10 years and spent 10's of thousands

When considering Vodacom (Vc) please consider it carefully! The confusion in the process they create on purchasing any package because of the many different people you speak to may cost you money in the long run. Vc owes me a lot of money and while I continue to pay what they ask I consider my treatment by Vc this year partly abusive and partly ***********.

Please read my story (Nightmare) as it still remains unsolved by Vodacom today.

My Vodacom (Vc) story in February & March 2018 Issue 1

In March of 2018 I would have completed my two year term On a Red Advantage 700 min plus 1 Gig and was going to leave Vc.

In Feb of 2018 A young gentleman phoned me directly from Vc and convinced me to stay by offering me a package that included the following per month at a cost of R799.00 Inclusive. New Samsung S8 R500 Air Time pm 5 gigs data pm

This would be a saving for me of +/-R2000 per month.

1 March 2018 arrived and I received my Airtime but not my data, within 3 days my phone automatically used the airtime for data. I now needed to buy air time to convert it to data, "Np" A few days later and after several phone calls I received about 3.5 or 4 gigs prorate and not the 5 gigs promised on the confirmed contract by Vc. Throughout March I spent at least R800.00 on Airtime for Data my last purchase was on the 28 March for R220.00 airtime where I bought 1 Gig Data. On the first of April the airtime & data I bought in march was removed and I was moved without authorization or due process back to Red Advantage

In conclusion after an expensive month in March, April arrived I was was moved to a different package with No notification and again did to receive my 5 gigs data.

Issue 2 Over several months in 2018 Vodacom has charged me insane amounts without an apology or feedback after reporting it:

In January I was billed by Vc R20k In Feb 2018 I was billed R40k In March 2018 I was billed R67355.00 All amounts were reversed by FNB

Because of this my debit order for March by Vc did not go through and my phone was cut off, this after rescheduling the debit order 2 X times

For the above I was charged by Vc Re-connection fees and told that this will effect my ITC record. The same has happened in April, my debit order has bounced. I estimate just going through my recorded calls I called Vc 10X throughout March to resolve this.

In Summary When the debit order bounced in March Instead of paying the R1300 owing to Vc I paid R2200 which ensured my payment for 1 April of R799.00 incase the anticipated issues I felt would happen, happened. Vc has now taken the R799 and on top of that say I owe them them the full price for the new Red Advantage package I have not authorised an amount of R1327.58.

Good day, 06 April 09:00. I received a phone call yesterday afternoon from a consultant. It is a relief to have one person handle my full complaint instead of multiple disconnected departments handling separate parts. The consultant systematically went through the last three months of my account with me. It did make it easier for both of us in that I prepared a time line of errors. After checking on Vodacoms system the consultant acknowleded that there have been errors made on my account and will provide feedback today.
