Be careful what you are signing with Vodacom

on 01/09/2018 I signed up a data fixed contract with vodacom for 24 months,5 gig data for R200 per month. This was debited from account every month on fixed term data contract. It means when the data runs out before end of the month, I will have to wait for the next month for new data. The first 2 months It went very well, I got my 5 gig data and R200 was deducted every month. on the 01/11/18 R264.22 was deducted from my account and due to busy schedule I did not have time to follow up with vodacom. On the 03/12/18 R2446.01 was again deducted from my account, immediately I enquired with vodacom and went straight to one of their shop where on of the consultants told me the conditions of my contract were changed to unlimited data and was charged as per use not fixed data contract of 5 gig per month. Note that I did not go change my contract terms with vodacom and this was done by someone inside vodacom without my consent. After my enquiries, vodacom apologised and promised to investigate, and on the 08/12/18 the money was reversed back to my account by vodacom. Vodacom decided to suspend that account until the investigations are done. From then, I have never received data and vodacom never deducted money from my account. In May 2019 I started to get phone calls from vodacom I owed them money and my account was in arrears of R10000. I disputed that because I dont get data and it vodacom who decided to suspend the account and none has ever contacted from vodacom about what happened with that account. Later in the year of 2019, I found out I was blacklisted and could not any credit facilities. I have tried for more than a year to contact vodacom to solve this matter with no success. This is one of the worse customer service i have encountered in my life. They look like glamorous company but they act like bunch gangsters, playing with people lives and not worry at all of their actions.
