I received a call from a sales rep who advised that she is calling on behalf of Vodacom. I cannot recall the date but If i remember it was 23rd June. She advised that calls are recorded, please pull the recording, she called me on ***.

The discussion was that she can see I'm not using my SMS's and Vodacom would then like to convert my package to give me more data and minutes instead of the SMS's and assured me that my contract would be reduced. I then received an upgrade letter which states that without my signature, it would not be active however to my surprise my monthly amount increased instead of decreasing as promised AND this without me signing the document. I understand the call covers as proof however I only agreed to the terms she specified because she mentioned it will DECREASE my amount.

I am now liable to pay an additional amount that I DID NOT agree to. This should be considered a **** really. I am not happy at all and require an explanation.
