I started my contract with Vodacom in January 2013. I was paying about R600 a month for my phone and contract. After two years, once my phone had been paid for, vodacom continued charging me about R600 per month, in stead of dropping me to a cheaper contract with equivalent data, minutes and smses. I thought this was strange, but I hoped that the money I was paying would count towards my upgrade, but in stead, the extra money I was paying since January 2015 cannot be used towards my upgrade. I feel taken advantage of, and even if it said in the contract I signed three and a half years ago that they would continue charging me for my phone, it seems to me like I could have just paid for two phones in stead of buying one through them. Definately not getting a phone through them again.

Best regards,
Vodacom contacted me and basically told me that this is the way it works.
I maintain that even if this is their policy, it is a flawed one that takes advantage of people.
I am still very dissatisfied.
