Bank account debited every month yet vodacom account in arrears???
I am due for an upgrade and when I called a vodashop to do the updgrade they informed me that me account is in arrears. This was a surprise to me. Never the less she advised me to call the accounts number (1946 - Subscriber legal collection) Spoke to 3 consultants including their manager which were unable to sort my account out. What baffles me is that every month my account get debited with the usage amount. When I spoke to Creselda Sebeko her said she has sorted out the issue and was caused due to Vodacom migrating to a new system. Creselda confirmed that all will be in order and can upgrade but I should give it 30 minutes before going to the store to upgrade. After 2 hours my account still has not been sorted and called 1946 again this time Caroline Mokquego re-assured me that there is nothing wrong with my account and I can go to the vodashop to upgrade. I called the vodashop to do the upgrade and the lady advised that my account is in arrears and she cant assist. I yet again called 1946 and spoke to a very rude and arrogant guy name Paul Kutumela who i quote stated 'you cant have things done your way' Does Paul know what his talking about? here I am always paying my account on date to date yet when I want to upgrade I have this issue.... Anyway I then spoke to Robin Luisegang (Manager) she said that on her side my account is up to date and nothing wrong with my account but we are waiting for an escalation to come back from some systematical system that takes long to update. She said hopefully it will be sorted tomorrow but cant confirm exactly. This has been a horrible experience and customer service I received from vodacom and highly disgusted by the service, inconvenience, and especially attitude received from all the consultants I have interacted with ESPECIALLY Paul Kutumela. What a disgrace. Not sure if I even want that upgrade or just port from these bad attitude consultants!
