Bad Vodacom upgrade experience

My cell phone is due for an upgrade. I am on a u Choose Flexi R175 pm with a Huawei Y7p costing R269 pm since November 2018. I want to upgrade to a Uchoose Flexi 175 = 175 airtime, 0MB data & 0 sms's (24 months) with Huawei P30 lite 2020 advertised on www.vodacom/cloud/shopping/sales--checkout?dealsSheetNumber=Dv2On90292&dealId=***&salesChannel=Contract&customerType=Existing The deal was declined and my account on the vetting process is 100% up to date and has a zero risk. I am offered a deal with data, minutes and sms's. I don't need that as I have wi-fi at home and work!!!!!!!!! I spoke to 3 consultants on 07/12/2020 for over 40 minutes, and again on 08/12/2020 I spoke to Washiema in customer service and Ayanda and accounts and neither one could tell me why Vodacom systems is not allowing me to do the upgrade. You are however offering me a contract for R309 per month for 36 month .... The logic does not make sense at all. The risk is even higer the longer the term and the higher the monthly installment !!!!!!!!!!!!! Vodacom, I am writing this review as I have been your loyal customer since 2000 and I am seriously contemplating changing service providers due this type of frustrations, which is totally unnecessary. Let's see if you will honor your advertised products and try and keep a loyal client.

I fail to understand a basically straight upgrade to an advertised product for R10 more per month. Its not like I want something that is not advertised!

I must add that the varied responses from Vodacom is shocking and disgusting actually. I have a 663 credit score with ONLY a paid to date Vodacom account. The last response from the consultant who seems very unwilling to assist or make any effort to help was that I need to check my Experian and TransUnion credit score..... Well I might dress funny but I am no idiot and I know with a low or bad score I cannot do any phone contracts. This comment was actually an insult to my intelligence. So all this effort and drama to change a phone bill from R258 per month to R270 per month on an advertised product. The one that I want with air time, and not one with data, unwanted sms'e and talk time.
