Bad Vodacom serives

On the 4th June 2023 I ran out of mobile data. I called into the Vodacom customer care desk 082135 on the same day and the gentlemen told me that my contract had expired on the mobile data and he was going to give me a better deal. I was paying R144.00 per month for a handset as well as data and he said I will only pay R99.00 rand per month now which would now bring my monthly debit order down from R144.00 to R99.00 as of the 1st July for the passed 2 months my total debit has been R288.00 for 2 numbers and yesterday I get an sms to say my debit will be R309.09. I do not understand why its going up when I was surposed to be getting a better deal on my mobile data I have been paying by debit order when taking out the contract it was for a handset and 1GB mobile data. On the 4th of June the gentleman only did Data and not the hand set On the 28th June 2023 I called in to query the sms amount and for over one and a half hours was told that a new contract was taking out for data and that I paid R309.00 last month. I have prove that on my bank statement is to what I paid. I then also ask the consultant when I could upgrade my phone and was told that a new contract will be done to which will now push the price up more. I feel that I have been giving the wrong information from the 4th June 2023 by the gentlemen when speaking to him and he was not clear on what he was doing. I then got a call on the 5th or 6th June 2023 asking me if I have received my handset yet which I didn't upgrade only Data was only request on. I feel Vodacom need to sort this problem out urgently as I WILL reverse the debit if it is not correct amount as no one is giving my clear answers as to what I will be debited for. I feel Vodacom are taking advantage of customers and doing what they like because of the debit orders client sign. Mrs A Buyskes
