Bad upgrade service
I have a 24 month contract that is due for an upgrade. Since 28 September I have received almost 6 sms's stating I can upgrade. So I logged in to the Vodacom site on the 4th and proceeded to choose a new contract at R339pm on the Huawei P20 lite package.
I got the following e-mail: Hello, We have received your request for a new deal and your reference number is H1H5IR A Call Centre agent will contact you within 24 hours to complete your new deal request. If you don't hear from us within the next 24 hours, please call ********** 4, FREE from a Vodacom cellphone. The Vodacom Online team On the 5th I called and spoke to Lungi as 24hours was long past and she informed me suddenly I am only due for an upgrade on the 25th of October but may order from the first Oct and that the prices changed and the R339 contract is no longer available. I informed her I am not happy about this as my order was submitted BEFORE the increase. So she advised me to mail vadmin. I got the following response this morning: Hi , Ticket: Kindly be advised prices change on the 7th of every month,Unfortunately we are unable to honor deals with old pricing, Kind Regards, I am NOT accpting this answer. As per above e-mail prices change on the 7th of each month. My order was submitted on the 4th. Had it been processed on the 5th when I followed up it would STILL be 2days before the 7th for the monthly price increase. I would please like to upgrade my contract to the R339 package as per my original order as I was not at error regarding this upgrade.
