Bad Services given by Vodacom Subscriber Collections Department

Sent: Thursday, 23 May 2024 15:17 To: *** Subject: FW: EC-1LSY-2VDNGJ RE: CASE NUMBER 37-38/03/2023 REF I883296 VODACOM

Good day

Last year, Vodacom was de*****ed by someone I don’t know using my credentials. I became aware of it because my account was debited by an amount that referenced Vodacom I had no contract with. (Case number and Vodacom reference on the subject). After following it up Vodacom forensic confirmed this to be a ***** and asked Subscriber Collections to remove *****ulent account from my name and update my payment profile, (see email below ).That never happened from June last year till this date. If why they never did it, I don’t know but that would speak to the reason they also delivered phones to an unknown person without an identity document on the profile as I was made aware the *****ulent contract has no ID. early May this year I went to Game to open a contract, there I was told my Profile is active on ***** status. I told them this matter was resolved by forensic and we had to call *****, Subscriber Collections they are not providing any solution but sending us from pillar to post between these departments, spoken to Lerato, Oscar, Riametse, Lindokuhle and Angela . I am fed up by this kind of treatment where even after the investigation that confirmed I am a victim in this situation, still I need to suffer the emotional drain it comes with it. To date i have written numerous emails to Vodacom and made a lot of phone calls, all i'm getting told every case opened get closed without any resolution. it is their staff member who opened a *****ulent account, delivered phones to Mpumalanga i never been but i must suffer the consequences, why?. My now question is how can Vodacom be comfortable with people who don't do their job. today i went to Game store again and when we called again the lady that is assisting me there, her number is blocked because their call center voice prompt stated, " they are experiencing high unusual calls from the number and they suspect *****." they have call logs from that number indicating the lady do speak to their call center staff, who always promise but never deliver.
