Bad Service Vodacom

Vernon May ********** 981

Vodacom

I had a contract with Vodacom in 2016 which consisted of a 500 top up and expired at the end of October 2016, In September 2016 I was telephonically approached by the Vodacom Sandton branch Johannesburg to do a upgrade which I agreed to, it would have been a Y6 Huawei handset and a 500 top up for the amount of R 527.50. I was working in Knysna at that time and I live in Kuilsriver Cape Town, the agreement I had with the consultant was that because I would not be home I had to have a copy of my ID which the couriers would take on delivery of the cellphone as prove that the it was delivered at the correct address and person. At the end of September 2016, the couriers were at my home in Kuilsriver and refused to leave the handset because they said that they were not aware of the agreement of leaving a ID as proof and according to them I had to sign for the cellphone but that was not possible because I was in Knysna working. I called the branch and could not get through immediately but when I got through they promised to get back to which the never did. I then at the start of October I contacted Vodacom direct on ********** and spoke to Gomotso and she suggested that I reverse the upgrade and that it would take three days then it would be cancelled, ref received on 04/10/2016 (S3-G8C28-8MDMO) the new upgrade was never canceled I went on the Vodacom website and explained my situation on the Vodacom complaints still I received no answer. I called them at the start of November and again I asked them not to add airtime because according to me I had no more contract with them, but they just added the airtime as if the new upgrade was in place. I then contacted Mellissa Peters at the store at the Sandton branch who promised me that she will see that the upgrade would be reversed, when I asked her for a ref she said that I should use her name as a ref that was at the end of November 2016, still the new upgrade was not reversed and no handset delivered. In January 2017 I contacted Melissa at the store she apologized for not reversing as per agreement, she then sent a mail to Vodacom Jan 06 2017 requesting the cancellation of the upgrade from. I received a mail from Vodacom on the 11/01/2017 stating that the cancellation was done. Because I used the airtime which they loaded for November 2016 and December 2016 they asked me about the 2 months airtime I used I explained to them that I am prepared to pay for the 2 months airtime but that the amount they want to charge me was incorrect because the agreement I had with the consultant at the time of the upgrade was R527.50 with a handset and I did not receive a handset so they should invoice me only for airtime at that stage the consultant got upset and dropped the call whilst I was still speaking to her, which I feel was extremely rude . My number was suspended immediately and was threatened via email with blacklisting. At the start of February 2017 I received a call from Vodacom all of the sudden my services was restored and airtime for Jan and Feb 2017 was on my number, the line was open, I then received a bill for Nov and Dec 2016 and Jan and Feb 2017 with an amount of R 2149.00, no one gave them permission to restore the upgrade and now I receive calls every day for payment of R 2149.00 . still with the amount as if I received the handset. They loaded R938.00 which I am not using..

Below is the people I spoke to and some of the refs received and not one of them resolved my issues.

Vodacom Direct: Gomotso 1. Gomotos 2, Wtwanano, Tabelisa, Aspas (Supervisor) Nozepo, Tshwarelo

Refs: 04/10/2016 (S3-G8C28-8MDMO) FOR CANCELLATION 21/12/2016 (A2-0ND-OZO209)

Other refs S3-G9J2P-PICMH S3-GBC28-8MDMO ********** ********** ********** 2
