Bad service - unable to cancel contract

bad bad bad services from Vodacom. I called before end of \ Jan 2021 to cancel my contract (data and router) as it was expiring in Feb. Was told to call again in Feb after the debit order has gone through. I called on 01st and was offered a deal for data only. Few days I called again to try to upgrade the router on the new contract as it was giving issues. I was told no contract can be found on the system. I asked the matter to be escalated. Was told will get the reference number after the call and also a call from Vodacom to sort out the issue. Until today no SMS or phone call. I went to Twitter to complain and was asked to send my information. That didn't help either. Debit order went through with the old instalment. On Monday, 15th I sent a complaint, and it hasn't been attended to. Today, 17th March, after 17h00, I called the cancellation department to cancel and was told I cant cancel since the account has open queries. They now can see the contract which they didn't see before but they aren't sure why am I being charged the old instalment still. Was asked to hold until they engage with the person that made the offer to me, I was holding for close to 10 min and line went to the call review to rate the call.

Thought would get a phone call or follow up call from the consultant who was helping, but nothing.

This is for someone with 3 accounts with Vodacom. I regret and fell bul****.

Only when a complaint is lodged on Hellopeter that you take the matter seriously, because you worry of your brand and reputation, but not about the frustrations that customers are going through. Customers are just there as objects for you to make money
