Bad service regarding premature upgrade

For the last 8 years I have always prematurely upgraded with my wife. I've been a customer of vodacom for the last 9 years with my bill running up to almost R3000 a month with all my contracts. Went today to premature upgrade my phone considering the old one is 2years and almost as o phone holds up that long I was quite rudely informed that the system changed and that I will not be helped. Really??? With my phone that is broken that drops calls etc and no way of upgrading I think the time has come to perhaps change providers...Cell C does have contract buy out..then I will qualify for a new handset. This is really bad customer service!!

Vodacom contacted me and it would seem that they do not even want to try and keep me as a customer. Their response is to get my phone checked but I must remember that I'm out of the 24 month timeperiode (as if I did not know that). Me and my wife spends about roughly R36 000 a year on our contracts and will thus need to look for another service provider. Thanks for nothing.
