Bad service from Vodacom and huawei

I bought a huawei nova 8i in Worcester Vodacom a week ago, on the 7th day at night 9 o'clock the fone decided to just die and don't want to charge or go on again, I took the fone to Vodacom vredenburg, now they tell me the fone need to be send away for repairs... My problem is Vodacom was closed last night on the 7th day, the huawei technician tells me this is all they can do, which is not an option for me, either I want a damn new fone or my money back.
