Bad Service from Vodacom
I recently bought a phone contract at Vodacom shop in Chris Hani Crossing on the 23rd of May 2021. I was only able to use the phone for one day and the next morning it read no sim card. Went back to the store on the 28th May 2021 and they told me I blocked the sim card, how cause I never switched my phone off nor try to put any pins I did not even open the phone cause they inserted the sim card in the store. so now they telling me to pay for another sim card. I decided they should cancel the contract I no longer want the phone, it doesn't make sense to me using the phone for one day and when the sim card is damaged it is my fault and the store Manager refused and told me I must not come here and tell him what to do and gave me attitude.

May I please also get feedback on how you going to deal with that store manager and the workers as I felt humiliated and disrespected
Hi

Please advise what should happen in this situation
I recently bought a contract phone at Chris Hani Vodacom shop on the 23rd
of May 2021. I was only able to use the phone for that day i got the phone,
the next morning when I check the phone it read no sim card, mind you I did
not open the phone ever since I got home the very same day, I never
switched off the phone, and lastly I never tried to put any pins as they
have inserted the card for me at the store. I contacted them about
my problem the and they told me it might be that the sim is damaged. I must
come to the store. I opted to go to East gate as it is near my work
place and the lady synchronized the sim card and told me it will take 24
hours, I then waited for that 24 hours and still it read no sim card, I
only knock off early on a Friday the 28th of May 2021 I managed to go to
Chris Hani where I bought the phone.
the consultant had an attitude towards me, she tried to put her sim card on
the phone and told me it is working, she said I will have to pay for a new
sim card, and I refused, she then escalated the matter to her colleague
(Attitude Also) and she did the same and put the sim on her phone she said
the phone says puk blocked and then it read no sim card in seconds, she
then escalated the matter to the store manager who had an attitude also, he
started asking me questions like who do I stay with was somebody trying to
attempt with my phone and no the phone was with me all along, he told me
its either I pay for the other sim or nothing and that I shouldn't come to
the shop and tell him what to do cause I asked for everything to be
cancelled, he then walked away and left me hanging with the workers
gossiping about me I felt humiliated
I am really disappointed and very hurt and angry
can I get a solution to this matter as it is not fair to pay for a fault I
never did and to pay for a phone I am not using
the way I was angry I even forgot the sim card in the store.
I had an overall bad experience with the Chris Hani crossing Vodacom shop
(one of them is Nthabiseng and the store manager i even took him a picture.
Your prompt response will be appreciated
Kind Regards
