Bad Service from Vodacom

My wife went to the Tygervalley Vodacom Store on 12 June 2016 to do the two-yearly upgrade of her cellphone contract. She had to get a new - smaller - simcard, for which the store had to to a sim swop. The new sim card never was activated. She personally inquired about it on 13 June and the person at the store informed her she must only switch het handset of and then on again and then it will be active. This didn't work. When she phoned the call centre about the lack of the sim card's activation on 15 June, she was informed that the sim swop was cancelled and she must go back to the store to have it fixed.

At this stage she can only use her old handset, and she wasted money on a non-functioning sim swop.
