Bad Service from the retentions call center staff
Because of my move overseas I had decided to migrate my contract to the lowest package that Vodacom has. I had called 4 times and nothing has been done. I called on the 28th of April and the lady, by the name of Kogmotso, said that the package has been migrated and that I would receive an sms or an email. Since I did not receive an sms or an email I called again on Friday the 29th of April and after waiting 45mins on the line I had to drop the call. As I now live overseas I had to call from here, which cost me a lot. I called on Tuesday, 3rd May and spoke to a lady by the name of Botumelo who said that the migration will be done. Again nothing was done. I then had to call again and asked to speak to the manager, Darryn or Daryl, who was very unprofessional. Apparently, he said that I should get a response from them within 3-7 days. It is day 3 and so far there has been no response. I definitely should not be liable for any migration cost and certainly not for the subscription fee for the month of May. I did my part to make sure that the contract was migrated before the month ended but Vodacom's staff certainly did not do their job. If anything the costs should be deducted from their salaries.
