Bad Service from manager

To whom it may concern:

I would like to complaint about the Vodacom Brackenfell Cape Gate manageress who is Izanette Joubert. She neglected to send my handset for repairs and when I tried to contact her she refused to assist me. Here is my story. On 14 December 2016 I took my handset to the Vodacom shop in Brackenfell Cape Gate after I experienced problems with my Lumia 550 (did not want to charge). The job number that I received is ********** 5. It was taken in by Izanette Joubert whom at the time did not knew that she is the manager. On 3 January 2017 I received a sms notification from Vodacom Tygervalley that my handset was received by them for repairs. This I thought was impossible because my handset was already since the 14th December booked in by Brackenfell to be sent off to Tygervalley which is about ± 7 kilometres apart. I contacted Vodacom Tygervalley and spoke to Elzaan who said that she only received the handset on the 3rd January 2017. I contacted Cape Gate to find out why it took so long for my handset to reach Tygervalley and was notified that only the manager do the bookings for repairs and she is not in at the moment and need to call back after three o clock the afternoon, which I did. Spoke to Izanette Joubert who is the manager and wanted to know why it took so long for my phone to be sent off for repairs but firstly she was not very helpful and secondly said that she will call back because the "system is down" and could not assist me in any way. She said that she will have to call me back and I still said to her "please do not take another 15 days to do so". While waiting for her call which seemed like forever I received another sms notification from Tygervalley Vodacom notifying me that the handset is now off for advanced repairs. I called Tygervalley and again spoke to Elzaan who said that the handset will be going to Johannesburg for repairs because Cape Gate took so long. Apparently two emails were send on 20th and 30th December to Cape Gape to request the handset. Still waiting for Ms Joubert to return my call I decided to contact her myself again late afternoon. When I called she was again not available or to be more specific "not in the shop". I spoke to Michelle and she said that she will call me back when Izanette is back in the shop and hand the phone to her so that I can speak to her. Which then happened. This Izanette Joubert took the phone and blatantly said that it is not she speaking. I recognised her voice as I spoke to her earlier the day.

She was rude and just did not want to take responsibility for her actions regarding my handset. I would like the correct person to follow up for me and give me feedback. Such kind of attitude of a so called manager I could not think in any way can be a manager for that matter. It is this type of people that will make a shop loosing customers. Obviously there is many problems in that specific store because I was twice in that shop already where people were complaining of the long queue and the type of service that all receive and now I see the reason for that, THE STORE MANAGER!!! And so I still do not have any answers and still without my handset since 14th December 2016.

Regards

Sonja Esprance Lehmann
