Bad service ever
I have bought a new prepaid phone and later I received a message offering me cellphone insurance.Of which I saw it as a good idea for me as I was planning to insure my new phone.I repsonded to the message. I received a confirmation sms saying that a consultant will call me in 24 hours. No one called me.I went straight to the vodashop in ghandi square to apply my insurance.I was advised that I will receive an sms within 24 hours confirming activation of insurance. No sms came through till today.I bought the phone on the 30/08/2019 and app**** for insurance on the 04/09/2019 as I was advised to insure my phone within 7days of purchase,of which I did.The guy at the vodashop gave me the copy of my application along with the copy of the email he sent to *** just having papers for something that is not active or does not even exist. This also happened to my sister where we had to call *** numerous times following up the activation issue. Until we layed a complain, that's when her insurance was activated after 4 months of struggling to get help.We were always told the story of backlog continuously.I have no time to call *** wait forever on the que to be told about backlog story.Vodacom should advise me where to insure my phone if they fail to activate this insurance as my service provider. I find it not proper to get a service after complaining.Service should be always available to all customers without going to the extend of complaining. Cellsure was way much better than this new finrite. It is now 3 weeks waiting for my phone to be insured,I feel that I have risked enough to move around with uninsured phone in the streets of Johannesburg.I want to understand if there will be any activations for my nsurance application or I just wasted my time by believing that my phone is being insured,or I should have not bothered and looked for another insurance somewhere else.
