BAD SERVICE - CONTINUED.....

What in the world is wrong with Vodacom?

This evening my account got softlocked again! I cannot make calls - yet again, and I have no access to the internet/ emails, ect. Somehow this company/ cellular provider is clearly not giving me the opportunity, time and space to recover from my previous horrible experience with them. The SMS I've received is "Vodacom Balance Notification. For your information. MANDATORY ACCOUNT LIMIT REACHED- SUBSCRIBERS SOFTLOCKED" - Verbatim. My account is not in arrears. I never had credit limits to worry about, before this whole problem started.

For their information, I am fed up with this whole Vodacom issue. They are pushing me to my mandatory consumer dissatisfaction limit - to the point of me taking this matter to the Ombudsman.

I have contacted the call centre this evening - once again - Response: only the accounts department can solve this issue for me, according to the consultant that I spoke to. I am so sick and tired of making fruitless calls to their contact centre. I foresee and am bracing myself for another "pillar to post" scenario tomorrow morning. I would like to avoid it at all costs, but...

Due to this softlocking issue that took forever to solve, I lost 8 gigs of free data. I did not make an issue of it then. I probably should have. I'm in the same situation now, where, by the time that this is sorted, I would have lost data.

This puts such a bad spotlight on their reputation regarding customer service and professionalism. The people (friends and family) that I speak to about my problems that I've experienced, can't believe that a company like Vodacom could provide such unprofessional service. Neither can I. The stress that I've been put through is unbelievable.

My Personal Safety And Security

I am in a position (yet again) where I have to bother other tennants in my complex to open the gate for me and wait for someone to enter or exit the complex, before I can enter (early morning hours). I work graveyard shifts . I would like them to please re - read my prior complaint completely and attend to ALL matters presented in it - not just the refund issue.

They have solved my prior prior issue partially - still waiting on an reply to that email I sent to you on 29 December 2016 (regarding a breakdown on the December charges that were deducted from my refund).

Granted: I was refunded R2210.15, I would like clarification as to why I wasn't refunded R2336.

I am not satisfied with the way they are handling my queries and solving my account issues.

I resent the fact that I have to be inconvenienced with problems that Vodacom is the cause of.
