Bad Service and faulty device

I have had sleepless nights since I sent my phone to Vodacom in Green acres for repairs.

The device only had a cracked screen damage, everything else working perfectly fine. To note my device is insured with Cellsure(part of Vodacom), On receipt by the technician, he assessed and called to me give me a quotation, in which he was not aware that my device was insured. After telling me he was doing me a favour by calling me as he only had to send the phone back.

Long story short, phone was quoted for the screen repair. Only later after I called to follow was told that they phone is being written off because there are now further damages to it. Damages caused by what? when? I enquired, I could not get a satisfactory answer from Bulelani instead I got once again the best of his attitude.

I have just tried to escalate my issue to the Head office department, of which they said they can't help me. Because what the technician feels is right, would basically mean it's what they will go with. How do you explain replacing a glass would break the motherboard???

I need Vodacom to take responsibility for damaging my device further than the cracked glass damage there was.
