Bad service and empty promises

Complain 1: ********** : Lost cellphone 17 March, called to block cellphone and sim. Consultant offered to assist to upgrade cellphone and arrange a sim swop. Monday 18 March upgrade consultant returned call and assist to upgrade to Huawei P20 lite, promised delivery Tuesday 19 March. I requested the consultant that they must call me upon delivery. Tuesday the consultant called back and said they do not have stock, so why do they upgrade on something they do not have stock on? We then chose a Huawei Y7. Delivery of phone and sim was promised for Wednesday 20 March. No delivery received Wednesday of Thursday. Friday, 22 March I called again Vodacom and RAM. In the process between calling Vodacom and RAM I used up all my airtime, which might not be an issue to you, but for me every sent count. RAM promised delivery Friday 22 March, again I asked to be called upon arrival. Apparently, the driver did deliver and called the number that has been ****** and not working at the moment. No answer at the gate and obviously also no answer on the ****** number - no delivery. Friday afternoon I called RAM again. They then said they do not do deliveries on Saturday’s but we must call the warehouse early Saturday and request to collect. Saturday, 23 March just after eight I called RAM, they then said if we wanted delivery on Saturday we were suppose to request it Friday, I can’t collect from the warehouse. So why do the one person tell me to call to collect and then other person tell me I am not allowed to collect. Service received from Vodacom and RAM is up to ****. Monday, 25 March, in the morning I called again to find out what was going on, parcel was not scheduled for delivery. I complained and the person said he will send an email to the manager. After 12, I again called to find out what was going on, parcel still wasn't send out for delivery, I again complained. Parcel/cellphone Huawei Y7 2019 was delivered just after 14.00, only the cellphone and no sim card!!!! I called Vodacom again, they said they will have to send it again urgently. After work I went to Vodacom shop to assist me with a sim swop, they could not assist me as there was an open sim swop on my account. We tried calling Vodacom online contracts department again, once again no answer after we holding on forever. Today Tuesday 26 March I again called Vodacom to assist me, being transferred from one person to another without any success. I requested for the sim to be cancelled as I can’t wait again another week. Do not know if it has been done. Consultant said she will send an email. Vodacom consultants are only friendly and helpful when they want to make a sale, the rest of the time no one was helpful or friendly at all. I will not recommend Vodacom or RAM especially online service to anyone. Called again 13:20, 26 March, sim card at Vodacom contracts online still not cancelled. Delivery ETA Thursday. Request again for sim to be cancelled. Ref no 1- ********** ********** 16:00 RAM called, no one talking. 16:15 RAM called again to find out how their service was, I told them they are useless. Went to Vodacom Lakeside, manager could not assist me. Advised me to call Vodacom online regarding sim swop still not cancelled. Can not do a sim swop in the shop as the online pathetic consultants still have not cancelled and removed the sim swop allocation on my number. Requested consultant to cancel everything, and collect the phone at the same address where they delivered it. Wednesday 27 March 8:42: Called Vodacom customer service, consultant confirmed cancellation, transferred me to retention department, 1958. Call cut off. Called again. Consultant confirmed that it has been logged for RAM to collect, will take 3-5 working days. 8:42 Missed call from RAM, Called back line gets gut off 9:55 Received call from RAM, no one talking to me, line cuts off 11:01 Vodacom online consultant confirmed cellphone upgrade has been cancelled, sim swop still open on system, not yet cancelled. Consultant will find out when will the phone be collected and let me know. 17:01 Call again as no one called me back. Consultant said it was Brian I spoke to earlier and he will get him to call me. No one called me back Thursday 28 March, 7:46 Received email from RAM that a parcel will be delivered. I do not know what parcel he is referring to as they are supposed to collect the cellphone. The sim swop was cancelled. 10:57 Called RAM to find out what they are delivering and what time. Consultant does only know it is something from Vodacom. ETA for delivery between 12:00 & 15:00. 13:55 RAM collected cellphone, refused not to deliver sim, said we must keep it until he has a collection note 14:07 Called Vodacom cancellations 6x kept being cut off, only got through the 7th time I called. Requested to speak to Brian as he still not returned my calls. Brian is very rude and not helpful. Said Cellphone cancellation will take 3-5 working days. Not to worry about the sim, can through it away.

Complain 2: ********** : Vodacom call centre contact me to upgrade as I wanted to cancel this contract. The consultant then told me I can proceed to upgrade with data only and when I am ready, I can upgrade the mobile. Monday 25 March when I was at Vodacom shop, the consultant informed me that they **** to me, the contract has been upgraded and I can’t upgrade to get a mobile on this contract. Once again Vodacom consultants are lying to make sales telephonically. Today Tuesday 26 March after work while sitting in the Vodacom shop and calling the online department I requested for the contract to be cancelled. Wednesday 27 March 8:42: Called Vodacom customer service, cancellation still pending on their system. 11:01 Upgrade not yet cancelled, consultant will follow up and let me know 14:07 Called Vodacom cancellations 6x kept being cut off, only got through the 7th time I called. Requested to speak to Brian as he still not returned my calls. Brian is very rude and not helpful. Said he did not say he will call me back and left early yesterday. Brain had me holing on forever just to tell me I can not upgrade. Not getting the point that it was upgraded in February telephonically by the useless online team who is telling lies to make sales. Now that I want to upgrade the mobile and get a new cellphone I am having endless problems to have this useless upgrade **** cancelled. The online team is ***********.
