Good Day I visited the vodashop in bridge city to open a contract( 2xHP 15 Celeron laptops) and was assisted by a Noluthando. My experience was unfortunately not a pleasant one because of the following reasons.
1: Before we even started the process with the consultant , I was told in case this option I am opted for is declined what I could do I take an option for one laptop pay up the instalment within 48 hours and come back the following week to open up a different contract. This comment for me seemed very shady especially in a sales environment because it appeared as though the consultant did not have my best interest at heart but instead wanted to pursued me into taking two contracts instead of a single one.... I could be wrong but that's the indication I got at the time which made me unease.
Secondly :I was told I was instantly approved however the option I wanted to opt for was not available on the system which had an extremely long list which the consultant was all so eager scroll though as quickly as possible.
Thirdly: because I informed her I was not interested in anything else but this option , she just informed me that when she comes back from "her Lunch " she will speak to they helpdesk or something to get assistance and would call me back on the same day to let me know.....I waited the whole day yesterday but she didnt call back till at 2:30PM I decided to go in and find out what happening because I had clearly indicated that I needed these laptops for school purposes and I needed to be kept in the loop in case something went wrong .
when I got there , she had apparently stepped out ( I assume on lunch) I waited for +\-20 minutes or so. when she got back she told me my application had been declined because there are so accounts I dont pay. This to me is NEWS which I'm definitely interested in knowing more about because accordingly to me and my record at the credit bureau I have settled all my accounts which were faithfully paid even whilst they were opened.
So we had the conversation with Noluthando so she offered to enquire by uploading documents , this was once again a failed attempt because after waiting a further 15 minutes or more whilst she was trying to scan these documents , she tells me " I don't know if your documents are too hard or old " mind you these were documents printed out the previous day but apparently those were the possible reason for documents not going through the screener and maybe there's a possibility , I don't know. I was then told to bring new documents , thing is I'm not crazy and I don't the same thing more than once especially when I see no logical sense in doing so. I am no longer interested in the contract however I would like to know the exact reason of my decline so I can sort out my affairs which were literally shared with everyone that was in that store because noluthando lacks a certain degree of professionalism and doesn't understand that her position requires her to be discreet with people's information , for example in my case despite other things I personally witnessed related to other customers, she scream from one end of the room and asked her colleague which reference to use when uploading the documents , the approved or declined . Your kind response would be appreciated.
