Bad service

It is ******* and quite dissapointing that when Vodacom's brands are damaged the customer has to suffer.I got a Vodacom Smart Tab 2 3G in february 2016 under contract with a 1 year warranty. In December I took it in at Vodacom repairs as the sim portal was not registering the sim card out of the blue. After 2 weeks I was called to be told that they cannot repair the Tab, I must pay in R600 to get a new Tab and the price of this Tab is +/-R999 and this is the Tab that I must be paying for 24 months. I asked about the Warranty and was told it doesn't apply to repairing such damage.I then asked who caused the damage cause if the screen had cracked i would understand that the problem is with me cause it fell. Now it is a simcard portal that stopped registering the simcard unless Vodacom can prove that I caused the damage I don't see the reason for them not replacing the Tab without letting me pay R600 for it which is as good as buying a new Tab by myself.I was then told how important it is to take insurance as it covers such damage now why does the Tab come with a warranty that is useless.Customers are really taken for a ride with their own money, now I must keep paying for a Tab that is not working. If i wanted a Tab game I would have bought one to just play games with now I am forced to sit with this thing that doesn't read the simcard.Your service is bad and your warranty false and misleading.Gone are the days where companies were treating customers right
