Bad Service

<p>I when to the Vodacom Shop in Beacon Bay Retail Park to sign up for a new contract over the weekend. I filled in the required forms and the consultant advised me that I should wait arround the shopping mall while I go through credit vetting. I waited for about 2 hours before deciding to rather go home. Once I got home I received a call from the store telling me that I have been approved and that I should come through to the store to collect the phone before they close. I then went back to the store, and when I got there I was told that they don't have stock! I waisted an entire day waiting for the contract approval, when I could have been told that there was no stock before I even started the application process.</p> <p> </p> <p>I told the store to cancel the application. So that I could apply on the online store. It took a number of calls and a phone call from the vodacom online sales department to eventually get the store to cancel the application. It had to be cancelled before any other store is able to reaply for the deal.</p> <p> </p> <p>No I have been told by vodacom that I cannot reaply for another 60 to 90 days as there system des not allow a second credit vetting to take place in that time frame. I have been a vodacom customer for many years but it looks like they are forcing me to go to another network.</p>
