Bad Service

Vodacom phoned me advising that they can change my contract saying that I can save up to R200 a month.

They see that I am paying R700 a month so this will be reduced to R500 and something a month.

I agreed to the change as I was told I would be saving money, so for interest sake I called them back to confirm that I would be saving money.

My contract has been changed to a more expensive package and my device payment will not be changing so which in fact means that I will be spending more each month instead of less.

Vodacom should not be contacting people with false information. Besides that I was told that it could be reversed back to my old contract if I was not happy, but as per customer support they are not able to change this back to my previous contract now and that I would be paying a R900 fine. I was then told to phone the sales department who told me that their system was offline.

The above was raised with Vodacom in February, I was called back to advise my contract will be changed back to what it was without paying a fine, however it’s still on the incorrect contract.

This has now been wrong for months, and for each month it’s an extra R100 on my bill.
