Bad Repair service from Vodacom

My Samsung S6 Edge had a problem where the phone didn’t pick up the SIM card. Everything else works fine but no SIM. I take it down to Vodacom The Bridge to be repaired as the phone is still under guarantee. So to start this off they inform me there is a part that isn’t under warrantee they will send me a quote to fix the problem. If I refuse the quote I have to pay them R57 for refusal of accepting the quote. How does that work. it’s a quote, so I have to pay them for not doing anything. After that I was told that it would take 5 to 6 working days to fix the phone. after 5 days I phone to find out how things are looking with my phone. They tell me sorry Sir but we haven’t even looked at your phone. So now I am confuse, I was promise 5 to 6 working days & at 5 days my phone hasn’t even been touch. Ok so I get almost a week later that the describe time my phone back. Phone is dead and just put it down as battery has run out. Get back to work and charge my phone just to hear the charging sound going on. I look and the buttons of my phone is lit up meaning that the phone is on. The problem is that the screen is black. All the sounds work and buttons work but no screen. I phone Vodacom The Bridge and explain the problem in saying that the phone came back worse than what it got to me & I would like them to please come and fetch the phone as they clearly didn’t check the phone. there answer is that I need to talk to the technicians as the don’t work with the repair service. I told them that I dropped the phone of by them I picked it up by them so they are responsible for the service. They just don’t care and I have to talk to the Technician. So I phone the technician Darren & explain my story. He tells me no it’s not their fault because they did a full check on the phone before it left & it must have happened during transit. I asked if they can print and show me the check list as I want to see they checked it. The response is that no sorry it’s on the system I can’t be printed. How is that not printable. He tells me he can fix the problem but they are not a transport service and won’t fetch the phone that they send to me worse than what they got it, I need to talk to the shop that booked the phone in. So now I phone Vodacom The Bridge again to speak to Carika that is shop manager. She is busy in interviews & will contact me as soon as she is done. Well 3 hours later no call from them. I have tried to phone them but a business like Vodacom only has one line & it keeps being busy. This is by far one of the worst customer service I ever had.

Thanks

Jerome Vosloo
