Bad repair and insurance services
Goodday
I took my phone in for repairs in Feb 2017 as the LCD and screen had crashed. I claimed from insurance and had to pay an excess of R700 fo repairs worth about R7000 and received the phone back about 6 weeks later. I was not pleased with how the phone was fixed and i returned it back to Vodacom 2 weeks later.
On Saturday 20/08/2017 i tried to press my screen and it wasn't working. About 2 hours later the screen started to turn blue.
On sunday 21/08/2017 i took the phone to Vodacom for repairs (claiming from insurance again), on Thursday 24/08/2017 i was called and notified by Vodacom that the claim had been approved for REPAIRS worth about R3000 and that i would have to pay an excess of R900.
The issue here i am without a phone for the 2nd time and have to pay excess for the again. It is disappounting that Vodacom does not try to make things convenient for their customers. I now have to pay an excess amount for a phone that might hust break again out of the blue and AGAIN i will losr all the data on my phone. Vodacom is will to spend more than R10000 to repair a phone that might break down again instead of giving the customers quality and giving me a new phone.
