Bad information, poor service.
My father had a stroke on the 9th of August after which the phone was never used. His contract should have been cancelled by his lawyer who took on his signing rights after the stroke but it wasn't. After finding out that the contract hadn't been cancelled I tried calling the vodacom call centre. They then instructed me that someone has to go in person to a Vodacom shop. I drove with my mother and grandmother from Franschoek to the V&A Vodacom branch and after a long wait in a queue that the information I was given is incorrect and proceeded to give me another number to call with no further assistance.

Not only was this a huge waste of time. We are now at the end of the month and will inevitably be billed for the following month. The phone and contract has not been used since last year august. I'm sure that someone at Vodacom will be able to check and confirm this.

I hope that a vodacom representative will be in touch shortly so that this issue can be resolved. We are already going through a difficult time and poor service is not helping.
