Bad experience with new iphone x & vodacom

Good day, I did a upgrade on the 6th July 2018 at Vodacom Kolonnade shopping mall , very happy with my new iPhone x I received, started using it, and on the 12th July 2018 the Morning when wanting to use my phone it was just dead not switching on nothing! I left it on charge for an hour or so, but still noting!! Not switching on.

As I contacted Alusha on ********** , the Lady that assisted me at Vodacom Kolonnade shopping mall, to explain what is going on with my iPhone, and I clearly stated that its within my 7 day policy, she must please sort this out, I’m not happy about this.

Well on the same day 12th July 2018 at +- 11:00 am I went to Kolonnade shopping mall, gave my NEW PHONE IN that I used for 6 days, and sitting with a loan phone, and now I must wait 7 working days to here if they are going to repair or replace my NEW IPHONE X!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not happy about this, I received a brand new device out of the box, used it for 6 days, and its faulty, I needed to take off from my work to return the phone, and now I must wait 7 working days to find out if they are going to repair my BRAND NEW PHONE THAT IS 6 DAYS OLD THAT IS 4 BUSSNIS DAYS!!! OF USE!! ON 2 WEEKEND DAYS!!!

Is this the service that one must get when purchasing onE of the best device? And Vodacom why am I supposed to wait 7 working days for feedback on a device that I used for 6 days???

I’m not happy with this!!!!!!!!

I hope I will get feedback on this!!

Kind regards,

Good day, Just a update on my device that was booked in at Vodacom Kolonnade on the 12th Of July, Friday at 16:50 a Mr Bryan Sibeko contacted me regarding my device and to find out what happen, so I explained to him and he said he will give me feedback – STILL WAITING Monday Morning at 9:33 Mr Freddy Nkuna phone me and I explained to him as per below mail what happened regarding my device. As per conversation, he explained to me that my device is with Vodacom Centurion repair centre ( I was told it is going to Vodacom Menlyn repair centre) he informed me that they need to still do an assessment on my device and will then give me feedback. At 16:13 he did a return call to me to inform me that they are still busy with device testing it or waiting for feedback. Witch a told him I do not understand how it takes 3 – 4 hour to try and test a device if it is just not working!! But I agreed and said is ok, I will wait for the final feedback, we will the probably get it today, that is 17/07/2018 Well this morning Mr Freddy Contacted me again to give me feedback, and explained that the repair centre in Centurion did test my phone, it is not switching on, AND NOW THEY ARE SENDING IT TO VODACOM MIDFRAND for final assessment???????????????????? This is just wasting my time, and it’s the first that I get to here of this?? why was I not informed that the device is going to 2 different repair centres?? Why did I not have the option to get in the car and take it to Vodacom Midrand MYSELF? To speed up to processes. This is really just a waste of time, So my brand new device is going via courier from repair centre to repair centre and I must just wait for feedback??? Really VODACOM!!! This is the worst service I received in my life, no proper communication channels, I used a brand ne device for 6 days, it gave me problems, returned it, and I Evan gave you a chance to send it in to a repair centre for evaluation, NOW IT WAS WITH REPAIR CENTRE and I must wait for it to go to another repair centre for??? Do you not trust the repair centre in centurion?? Can they no do proper assessment on device?? Why must I wait for more assessments on device just sort it out?? I strongly think Vodacom can take this vaulty device up with Appel, just sort me as the customer rout please?? Regards Kobus Erasmus
