BAD EXPERIENCE
Good day
I was at the Vodacom Shop in Tygervalley on the 24th of November to do a upgrade (laptop for my son for xmas), the laptop was suppose to be ordered by Nashville, the 28 of November i followed up and the guy in store confirmed that Nashville is off but the laptop was not ordered. He confirmed that he will do the order and will also get all the paperwork ready for me. I went back on the 2nd and the paperwork was incorrect, i had to wait for Nashville to do everything from scratch. He was more worried about he's personal voicecalls on he's phone then to help me. After this was done, i left with the laptop en got home to test everything.
We are going away for chrismas and I just wanted to see that everything is in working order for my son (8years old) to have a working laptop on xmas morning. After i opened the laptop i notice that the CD ROM is not working, this wasn't even a hour later after i left the vodacom shop. I phoned Nashville and he said i must bring the laptop in (the same day that i collect it).
He confirmed that he will send the laptop in but confirmed that this will also be replace immediately.
After phoning everyday to find out when i can collect the laptop he is just full of excuses.
Later i called the manager - Denise and she confirmed that we she will sort this out for me.
Last week i got a email from Colleen Wilson stating that i have no choice than to wait for Lenovo to fix the laptop. And also confirmed that Nashville wasn't suppose to take the laptop from me and that i should've taken it to Lenovo myself. Unfortunately this is ridiculous, i upgraded with Vodacom and i know that your policy is that you do a replacement in 7 working days.
Today is 17 days later and still i don't have the laptop. We are leaving on holidays on the 21st and is 10 hours away from Cape Town. What must i tell my son on Christmas morning. The gift i purchase for him was broken and must now be fix.
I want a new laptop before the 21st of December, i am a very loyal client of Vodacom for many years and i feel that this is a very very bad experience with Vodacom and the store members.
The store number is ********** .
It is the most unprofessional store in Cape Town and i will make sure that all my friends, family and colleagues will know this.
I urgently await feedback herein.
