Bad Customer treatment

19 years ago I purchased my first mobile phone at Autopage with Vodacom network and being using the same number ever since . During all those years I encountered no problems with Autopage.

I had two separate accounts, one with Autopage and another with Vodacom direct.

A few months ago Autopage customers were taken over by Vodacom for some reason, then the problems started because I apparently had two different account numbers.

Without my consent Vodacom merged both my accounts, meaning that I should have only one account number for both mobile phones.

Early in September 2016 I received a SMS message from Vodacom reminding me to pay my account, which I did on 05 Sept.2016.

On 07 Sept.2016 I received SMS from Vodacom thanking me for my payment.

On 12 Sept.2016 I again receive a SMS from Vodacom informing me that my Vodacom account has been handed over to LEGAL COLLECTIONS.

I was totally furious because I am threatened with legal action. I contacted them immediately on the same day and after a long delay my call was transferred to a consultant who informed me after a long discussion that my account is up to date. !!!!!!!

I do get the impression that some employees at Vodacom are totally *********** and are causing unnecessary inconvenience to the customers and this treatment is totally unacceptable!!!!!

This is a matter for top management to investigate and to reprimand the person(s) responsible for this type of very poor service !!!
