I got ****** on 26th October 2017 and my phone was one of the things they took. Fortunately (or so I thought), it was insured. So I made my claim on the 31st October 2017 and on the 1st Vodacom told me that they have the handset and they are going to keep it for 60 days. They told me to I should pay R863.00 excess fee and the handset will be delivered within 24hrs of payment. I spoke to a lady by the name of Millicent who works at GCA Vehicle Enterprise( Vodacom's third party insurance company) who told me that the handset will surely be delivered once payment was received on their end. I made the payment of R863.00 on 6th November and was then expecting my device on Tuesday or Wednesday for the latest. On Tuesday I called to inquire and was told by Millicent that the device WILL still be delivered on that day and that I have" to be patient" and that "the day isn't over yet", today is the 16th November and I still have not received it. Instead, I have been told countless amount LIES over and over again and Millicent has called me rude and she has refused to call me to inform me about any updates, which there hasn't been because I've been calling everyday. Their excuse is that they don't have the device in stock, HOW??!! When I told the device is ready all I needed to do was to pay the excess fee, which I did and now I'm being told that there isn't stock, how the **** is that possible??!! I'm saying this probably for the millionth time,I am disappointed and I'm just ABSOLUTELY LIVID!!! I'm sick of having to take matters this far with Vodacom or any other company for things to be taken seriously. I have received no call from anyone at Vodacom to find out what is happening given the fact that I'm the one having to call and follow up with Vodacom's insurance company. Somebody had better deal with this RIGHT NOW!!!
