Bad customer service unwilling to help
My father passed away Oct 2014. Dec 2014 the executor of the estate sent an email with the ID and death certificate to Vodacom requesting them to cancel the contract without response. In June 2015 again and again without response. MOnthly debit orders still continued. It was handed over to the family as Vodacom did not respond and it is our problem now - since then I have been trying telephonically and basically just gave up. I phone 111 they put me through to cancellations 1958, cancellations either drops the phone as soon as you choose 2 to cancel or they pretend not to hear me or they transfer me without explanation to legal. Legal dept then either drops the phone or say I must go back to cancellations or customer services. Is this how this money sucking company keep you in their contracts? By pushing you from one incapable agent to the other. Why is it so difficult to cancel a contract of a deceased? Is it not bad enough to loose a loved one now you need to struggle with incapable service providers too! Shame on you Vodacom, you are just money suckers!!@!! @#$$%
