Bad customer service from the online sales team

I’ve purchased a device on their website on the 31st of May.The product was supposed to be delivered on the 2nd of June till today. I am busy going back and forth with the courier company which something that had to be taken of by Vodacom since I purchased from them.

According to their website there’s an option to fill in the details of the person receiving the delivery of which I did to my surprise the courier company wants an Identity document of the person receiving the package . In my case the person is a minor and does not have any identity document only birth certificate. The recipient tried to show the courier company all the prove that he is the rightful recipient to the package but still the driver refused to give the recipient the package.

I’ve tried to raise the issue with their Facebook online team. I’ve sent emails I’ve called the customer care with no help from their side since it’s them Who had partnered with that courier company… the team insisted that I give them my details in order to change name on the package from the minor(who was suppose to be the one recieving the package) to mine since the courier is refusing to give us the package till to date things haven’t changed . The courier people keeps on coming to my place and refusing with the package and insisting that they are going to add charges

This whole thing caused so much trauma to my brother ( the minor) cause the drivers keep on shouting him like he’s a thieve or a ****. This whole thing has caused so much frustrations and insomnia since we have used so much money for that product
