BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - AGAIN!!
On the 16th of July 2019, I sent an email to Vodacom's Deceased Estates department informing them that one of the users on our Business contract had passed away. I sent a copy of the Death Certificate and letter. I received a reference no. EC-1R98-2IFUR8 on the 16th confirming that I would be contacted within 3 business working days. On the 23rd July I again sent an email - they do not have a direct contact number - requesting feedback as I have not yet received any. On the 6th of August, I received an email from their Retentions Department, informing me that I had to pay R 8 504.00 for premature cancellation. I responded by asking them why I had to pay for cancellation if the user is deceased? On the 23rd of August, I sent another email requesting feedback as I had still not heard anything, over a month after my initial email. I sent another reminder email on the 12th of September, and also copied in the Legal department of Vodacom. It is now the 15th of October 2019, almost 3 months later and three payments later and I have still had no feedback from Vodacom or had this contract canceled. I have tried getting hold of them on Facebook and nothing, so this is my last resort. My review is DO NOT TAKE OUT A CONTRACT WITH VODACOM, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISGUSTING!!!
