Bad Customer Service

Good day,

In 2015 September, I took a contract with Vodacom and my montly instalment was R479 with R200 air time inclusive. Then in 2016 July, I coulld not pay the instalment then in August I resume with my payments again. During the month of August 2016 my services were disconnected up until February 2017. When my services were re-instated, i was re-embursed with the airtime of R800. I then made an enquery about my contract if I want to settle my account and pay it off and change back my account to prepaid and I was given a quote. Due to unforseen circumstances I could not pay all the money being quoted and I only paid R500 and called the Call Centre again and informed them about the situation.

A month later i then ask for the quote again and the person who I was dealing withh gave me a different amount.I then paid R500 again. Later during the month of May 2017 I then called Vodacom Call Centre because I wanted to settle my account and close the contract and the person I spoke to gave me a quote for R752.94 I then asked if I pay this amount my account will go back to a normal prepaid account? A nd the answer was yes. The same gentleman called later to tell me that he gave me a wrong quote actually the amount is R1252.94. I then wentt to one of your branches in Centurion Mall and made the payment.

After making the payment i call again the Call Centre to inform them that i have made a payment and i woul dappreciate if they close my contract. To my surprise I was told that the amount i paid was to open the services not close my contract. If I need to close my contract I need to pay R2000 and some odds to close it. That shocked me cause the people that i have spoken to have not informed me about such.

On top of this, i have not been gettingg airtime at all. I then called again today (24/05/17) and i was sent from pillar to post and no one wanted to own up the call. Eventually i reached the lady who assisted me and was also asking me that why i was not being assisted by her colleagues? Which I did not know. Now my second question is about my airtime. When can I expect the re-embur*****t of my airtime for the past 7 months that i was not given? When I asked this question to that lady she told me and nott getting it.Why?

The manner of approach is pathethic and no communication whatso ever to say what is going on. So please i need a call from someone who knows what he/she is doing and Would like you too listen to myy conversations enquiring about the settlement. Why do I need to pay extra if I was told if I make thatt payment my account will be back to prepaid? I am not prepared to pay a cent for this contract.

I am writting this annoyed in a manner in which i was treated by Vodacom staff.
