Bad Connectivity and even worse customer service

Nearly a year ago I made the error of judgement to take out a Vodacom MyGig contract from a telesales agent vie telephone. I was told that I can cancel anytime of I was unhappy. Within the first three weeks I was ready to cancel as the connectivity was intermittent and it was nearly impossible to top up data. This was an exercise in futility as they do not want you to cancel. After a few phone calls they managed to improve the connectivity issues, so I have merely been limping along between this Vodacom contract and my Afrihost account which is working a dream. I then went to two different Vodacom Shops who refused to help me as I took out the contract telephonically, and not with them. As of Wednesday this week (1 Nov) I have been unable to get any internet connectivity with Vodacom. Three calls to the call center and still no connectivity. I was promised a call back twice, and nothing. So all I desire to carry on with my Afrihost package, but I am stuck with this Vodacom contract which means nothing to me, except that it's a pain in the rear!

So, during my last correspondence with Vodacom, I was told they would call me back and was given the following reference: 1- ********** ********** . This was on the 2nd of Nov. I have just received an SMS from Vodacom advising me this query has been closed. This despite the fact that nobody has contacted me and I still don't have any connectivity. "SA's best network" - not so much!
